About

I am a Martin County native who has had a successful 18-year career working with executives, business owners and individuals to help them achieve their most important goals.

After graduating from Martin County High School, I attended the University of Tampa where I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting. Prior to joining Edward Jones in 2016, I was responsible for the planning and strategy of the Nextera Energy Nuclear Fleet's operating budget and capital projects programs.

Relying on my past experience in corporate planning and strategy, I use an established process to develop a personalized strategy to help achieve your goals. The first step is always understanding what is most important to you. Only then can we work through my process to build a personalized strategy with specific action items to help achieve the goals that are set. I partner with you throughout your lifetime by revisiting your goals, the performance of your investments and re-evaluating your comfort with risk to confirm you're still on track to meet your goals.

In 2018, I earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation. The College for Financial Planning awards the AAMS® designation to individuals who successfully complete a 12-module professional education program, pass a final examination, commit to its code of ethics and agree to pursue continuing education.

My wife, Kate, and I have four children: Ruby, Olivia, Beau and Lucy. My family attends and serves regularly at Christ Fellowship Stuart Campus. I enjoy being actively involved in my community by volunteering with the Palm City Chamber of Commerce, where I'm treasurer and on the board of Family Promise of Martin County.

Sue Maccio has a 20-plus year background in retail banking. Her industry knowledge is invaluable to the branch, but more importantly her high touch client service is appreciated by all our clients. Sue and her husband, Lee, have two daughters. They enjoy live music and weekend getaways.
