About
After returning home from World War II, my grandfather started his own construction company. He grew his business successfully across northeast Ohio. Then, at his retirement, he transitioned that business to my uncles. In 1987, we began to build custom homes in Martin County, Fla. As I grew up, you'd find me during school breaks out on the jobsite performing whatever role was necessary to get the job done. As a teenager, I despised waking up those early mornings, but I loved working next to and being mentored by my father. He also made it clear during that time that I needed to forge my own path. With his advice, I found a love for finance.
I took that hardworking attitude from the family business into my love of finance and found a rewarding career; however, I often felt unfulfilled when I came home late at night. That's when I took what I loved most, helping others create and achieve goals, and turned that into a career at Edward Jones where I can make a greater impact on my community.
Similar to building a home, I use an established process to develop a personalized strategy to help achieve your personal goals. The foundation of our relationship always starts with a conversation to understand what is most important to you. I'll work hard and use my experience to help you create a solid financial strategy. During our relationship throughout your life, we'll revisit your goals, put portfolio returns in context with your strategy and re-evaluate your comfort with risk to confirm you’re still on track to meet your goals.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner and have earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation. These two certifications combined have put me in a strong position to help support business owners who are looking to exit or transition their business in the next five years. We'll partner with my CEPA® network when appropriate to help accelerate value in your most significant asset (your business) while we document and execute strategies for your next act in life.
My wife, Kate, and I have four children: Ruby, Olivia, Beau and Lucy. My family attends and serves regularly at Christ Fellowship Stuart Campus. I enjoy being actively involved in my community by volunteering with the Palm City Chamber of Commerce, where I'm treasurer, and on the board of Family Promise of Martin County.
