The Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.  We offer assistance in times of crisis with things like food, clothing, and emergency financial assistance with rent, utilities and prescriptions.  Our Compassion House transitional shelter offers homeless women and their children free shelter, meals and resources to help them find and maintain stable employment and housing.  Our Emergency Disaster Services team is ready to deploy to serve meals and hydration and provide emotional and spiritual care in areas hit by hurricanes and other disasters.
